The Region 2 schedule of training session dates have been confirmed and is presented below. Participants must attend all training sessions listed. The application process includes securing the signature of the participant’s supervisor, so it is advisable to secure that permission before the application is submitted.
Principal's Induction Program (GROW)

GROW cohort I

All sessions will begin at 9:00 AM, with refreshments available at 8:30 AM, and will end at 3:00 PM. Locations for the sessions are tentative and will be confirmed once all participants have been identified, but they will be held in staff development rooms at one of the four intermediate unit locations. *

* Completing all eight sessions of NISL Course I will earn the participant 3 CPE credits (90 hours). However, principals required to complete the entire three 'Core' Standards must also attend NISL Course 4 that will be offered next year. Completion of that course provides participants 2 CPE credits (60 hours).

NISL Course 2 Cohort III

This is the final NISL Course and is designed for participants who have completed GROW, SUPPORT, and NISL Course 2. Although an administrator may enroll in this course without completing the courses listed above, it is not recommended because of missing out on the integrity and sequence of the NISL curriculum.
